Disclaimer
Last updated: 1 September 2026. A plain statement of NIET's standing, so nobody has to guess.
NIET is not a university
The National Institute of Education & Trainings awards professional certification and continuing-development credit. It is not a university, it is not a degree-awarding body, and it does not confer academic degrees, diplomas or post-graduate qualifications. No statement on this website should be read as a claim to university status or to a recognition NIET does not hold in writing.
How to read our collaborations
NIET works with the Global Council for Leadership Excellence, DBS Global University (Dehradun) and the All India Principals Association. Each relationship is described on the collaborations section exactly as it stands: who certifies, who hosts, and who provides the professional network. A partner’s own accreditations belong to that partner and are not transferred to NIET or to a NIET certificate.
What a NIET certificate evidences
It evidences that a named person attended a dated programme, submitted the required assessment, and met the standard set by the NIET academic panel for that programme. It does not confer a licence, a statutory qualification, or an entitlement to any post. Whether it counts towards a particular appointment, increment or renewal is for the employer or authority concerned to decide.
Programme content
Sessions cover regulation, compliance, employment practice and financial management as they apply to schools in India. This is professional education, not legal, tax or financial advice on your circumstances. Regulations differ by state and board and change over time. Take advice on your own facts before acting.
External links and third parties
Where this site links to another organisation, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content or its handling of your data.
Photographs and names on this site
Photographs are from NIET programmes and associated gatherings. Resource-person biographies are drawn from the collateral issued for the cohort in which each person taught. If you appear on this site and would like a photograph or a detail removed or corrected, write to info@niet.org.in and we will act on it promptly.
Accuracy
Dates, fees, panels and venues are correct at the time of publication and may change. The programme page and your written confirmation are the authoritative record for a cohort you have registered on.
