A certificate is only worth what someone can check.

Every certificate NIET issues carries an ID. Type it in and the register returns the holder, the programme and the cohort — so a school board or an employer never has to take a photocopy on trust.

Demonstration register. Try NIET-SLA-2026-0142 or NIET-SLA-2026-0087. Point this at NIET’s live certificate database before launch — set NIET_VERIFY_ENDPOINT in assets/js/niet.js to an API that returns the record for an ID.

Where to find the ID

The certificate ID is printed at the foot of the certificate, below the seal, in the form NIET-XXX-YYYY-NNNN — the programme code, the year of the cohort, and the register entry number. It is also included in the certification email sent to the participant.

What the register returns

A successful lookup shows the holder’s name, the programme they completed, the cohort and venue, and the date of issue. It does not show marks, contact details or anything else about the person. If you need a signed confirmation letter for a hiring file, write to registrar@niet.org.in quoting the ID.

If a certificate does not resolve

An ID that returns nothing means one of three things: it was typed incorrectly, the certificate has not yet been entered following a recent cohort, or it was not issued by NIET. Send a scan to registrar@niet.org.in and we will confirm within two working days. We take misrepresentation of a NIET certificate seriously and will say so plainly when a document is not ours.

Lost your certificate?

If your record is in the register, we can reissue. Write to the registrar with your ID, or your name and cohort dates.
