Terms & conditions

Last updated: 1 September 2026. These terms govern your use of this website and your registration on a NIET programme.

Who we are

This website is operated by the National Institute of Education & Trainings (“NIET”). By using the site or registering for a programme you accept these terms.

What NIET awards

NIET awards professional certification and continuing-development credit in school leadership, administration and academic quality. NIET is not a university. It does not confer academic degrees or diplomas, and nothing on this site should be read as claiming a recognition NIET does not hold. Programmes delivered with a partner institution are described with that partner named exactly as the arrangement stands.

Registration and payment

  • A registration is confirmed only when the fee is received and we have sent written confirmation. Submitting a form reserves a seat provisionally for three working days.
  • Fees are quoted per participant and are inclusive of the sessions, materials, refreshments, assessment and certification stated on the programme page. Travel and accommodation are not included unless stated.
  • Seats are not transferable between programmes without our agreement. A seat may be transferred to another person from the same school at no charge with at least three working days’ notice.

Changes to a programme

We may change the venue, timings, or a member of the resource panel where circumstances require it, and we will tell registered participants as soon as we know. If we cancel or reschedule a cohort and the new date does not suit you, you may take a full refund under the refund policy.

Assessment and certification

Certification requires attendance at both days and a pass in the assessment. Assessment decisions are made by the academic panel and are final. A certificate is issued in the name given at registration; corrections after issue may attract a reissue charge. We may withdraw a certificate if it was obtained by misrepresentation.

Conduct

Sessions run as open floors and depend on candour. Participants are asked not to record sessions or circulate other participants’ cases outside the room. We may ask a participant to leave, without refund, for conduct that prevents others from taking part.

Materials and intellectual property

Programme materials, templates, recordings and the content of this site belong to NIET or its resource persons. Participants may use and adapt the working templates inside their own school. They may not sell them, publish them, or use them to deliver training to others.

The certificate register

The verification tool reports whether a certificate ID exists in the NIET register. It is provided for good-faith verification. Automated or bulk querying, and any attempt to enumerate records, is not permitted.

Liability

We take care that programme content is accurate and useful, but it is professional education, not advice on your specific circumstances. Decisions you take in your school remain yours. To the extent permitted by law, NIET’s liability in connection with a programme is limited to the fee paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the seat of NIET’s registered office have jurisdiction.
